ANUA’s 8 Hyaluronic Acid Gentle Foaming Cleanser starts as a soft cream and turns into a cushiony, fine-bubbled lather when you add water. It lifts away dirt, excess oil, sunscreen and leftover impurities, and leaves skin feeling comfortable, soft and hydrated.
Instead of harsh sulfates, it uses mild amino-acid cleansers (sodium cocoyl glycinate and sodium lauroyl glutamate) and plant-derived quillaja bark to cleanse effectively without disrupting the skin barrier. Eight different forms of hyaluronic acid, with molecules of varying sizes, replenish moisture as you rinse, and panthenol supports a healthy, resilient barrier. Zinc PCA helps keep excess shine in check, which makes this a good fit for balanced, oily and combination skin as well as dry skin.
It’s free of artificial fragrance, essential oils and drying alcohols, and gentle enough for both morning and evening use. It also works well as the second step in a double cleanse.
